shortcode issue

Hi,
I'm having trouble to visualize the shortcode in one of my pages, I divided the page into two columns and in the second one I pasted the shortcode [ai1ec view="agenda"], but it doesn't seem to work as nothing appears.
Am I missing something?

Currently shortcodes can only be used in blog posts, however we are working on making it so they work for other parts of the site. Unfortunately, I can’t say how long this will take.
