How to Add Images to your Event Posts

Welcome to Timely Video Tutorials.
Today we’ll show you how to make your event posts more engaging by adding images.
Let’s get started.

From your Timely dashboard, click Add Event at the top.
Or, go to the left menu and click Events, then Add Event.

Scroll down to the Featured Image section.
You’ll see two buttons: Media Library and Upload.

To use an image already uploaded to the dashboard, click Media Library.
Browse your gallery or use the search bar to find and select the image you are looking for.

If you would like to upload a new image, click Upload.
Click on the file button and select an image from your computer.
Add a descriptive alternative text that fits the image, to make sure you can find it later if needed.  And click Save.
Your image is now automatically saved in the Media Library.

Don’t have an image yet?
No problem. You can always add one later by editing your event.

Now, to add an image inside the event description, scroll to the Description section.
Click the Insert/Edit Image icon. 
Choose an image from your computer.
Add an image description.
Click OK.

You can adjust the size and alignment of the image to fit the description text as needed.

Your image will be added to the event and saved to the Media Library.
