Today we will show you how to add events from a Timely calendar to Google, Apple and Outlook calendars.
This allows users to subscribe to your calendar and receive event updates automatically within their personal calendars.
Let’s get started!
First, make sure the Add to Calendar button is enabled.
From your Timely dashboard, go to Settings.
Open the Design tab.
Scroll down to Toolbar Settings.
Enable Show add to calendar button.
Click available options and select the options you would like to display from: google, apple, outlook, import url, ICS and XML.
Then, click Save.
Go to the public view of your calendar.
You can open it from your website or click the Public Calendar shortcut in the top-right corner of your dashboard.
Click Add to Calendar.
You will see the available calendar options
To export events to a personal calendar, click on the desired option. For this example we will use Apple Calendar.
After clicking, a pop-up window will ask you to open Calendar.
Click Open Calendar, then click Subscribe.
In the subscription window, you can update the calendar name, location, alerts, and auto-refresh frequency.
Click OK to finish.
Your calendar will start importing events from the Timely calendar.
Any changes made in Timely will also be reflected in your personal calendar.
You also have the option to click on “copy import URL”, or to download the calendar as an ICS or XML file, and manually add them to your personal calendar..
