How to Enable and Disable Booking Email Templates

With Timely, you can enable or disable booking email templates to control which automated booking email notifications are sent out. This is useful when your team wants to send only the messages that match your booking workflow.

Use this guide to learn how booking email template status works, how to disable a template, and how to enable it again when you want the system to resume sending that message.

1. What Does Enabling or Disabling Booking Email Templates Mean?

Booking email templates are connected to specific booking actions. When an email template is enabled, Timely sends the related email automatically when that action happens. When a template is disabled, Timely does not send that email for future matching actions.

2. Benefits of Enabling or Disabling Booking Email Templates

By managing template status, your team can:

  • Personalized Communication: Tailor your emails to reflect your brand identity and align with your communication strategy.
  • Optimized Workflow: Enable only the necessary templates, ensuring that your clients receive only the most pertinent information.
  • Greater Control: Maintain complete control over the emails sent from your Timely account, ensuring that each message serves a specific and purposeful role in your booking operations.
  • Adjust Communication Over Time: Re-enable templates when your process changes or when you want automated communication to resume.
